How to receive large files?
Would you like to receive your first large files on Smash?
Log in to your account and follow the instructions:
- Once you've logged in, you'll see a "switch mode" at the top right, next to the menu.
- Click on "receive mode".
- The interface changes to a reception interface and all you have to do is click on the central button to create a secure file drop link.
- A few seconds later, the link is generated
- From the Smash page, you can copy it and share it as you wish, or view the link, create a new link or access your account.
- That's it!
The drop link, where your customers or partners will send you their files, is available by default for 7 days and an unlimited number of transfers.
If you wish to authorise only a limited number of transfers, you can activate the single transfer restriction option in the Settings tab of your account. The validity period of the drop link can also be set, up to a maximum of 365 days.
On their end, your contacts access the classic interface in send mode.
They simply need to click on the central button or drag and drop their files or folders, then enter their email address in the sender field. After clicking "send," their files will reach you a few seconds later, and you'll receive an email notification.
