What are storage limits for Smash subscriptions?

On Smash, the amount of data actively stored is limited. The amount varies according to the subscription you have taken out. The maximum authorised active storage quota is 1TB on Smash Pro, 2TB on Smash Team.

Use of the storage quota depends on the size of the files you send and how long they are valid. Active storage includes all active transfers.

If an account requires more storage space than the subscription was designed to handle, our teams will contact the subscriber concerned to find a solution by mutual agreement.

The proposed solutions may be: to switch to a subscription that better meets the storage space requirements or to delete one or more transfers in order to obtain active storage that is less than the planned limit. Our teams are available to help subscribers with the deletion process.

If a subscriber exceeds the authorised quota, they will be contacted by e-mail by our teams and given two weeks to rectify the situation.

If no response is received within this period, the Smash team reserves the right to block the subscriber's account.

From their Smash account, subscribers can check the amount of data sent and the status of their transfers. Our team is also available to provide further information.

Although we attach great importance to respecting these storage limits, it is important to know that only 1% of our users do not respect them.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact our teams.
